These photographs were taken during a trek in the Dolomites, Italy. For seven days we moved from one rifugio to another along long distance footpaths.

It was very hot in Italy in this time (july 2003). Temperatures of over 30 degrees Celsius were no exception. Luckily things were much better at the altitudes we were at.
